Cosmetology and Instructor students must complete the educational program within the maximum time frame, which is based on attending at least 80% of the scheduled hours. Cosmetology students can miss no more than 300 scheduled hours before being dropped from the program for failing to meet their contractual obligation to the school. Instructor students can miss no more than 75 scheduled hours before being dropped from the program for failing to meet their contractual obligation to the school.
Nail Technician and Esthetics students must complete the educational program within the maximum time frame, which is based on attending at least 90% of the scheduled hours. Nail Technician students can miss no more than 33 scheduled hours before being dropped from the program for failing to meet their contractual obligation to the school. Esthetics students can miss no more than 67 scheduled hours before being dropped from the program for failing to meet their contractual obligation to the school.
Cosmetology students are expected to utilize the 300 scheduled hours for normal challenges that come up in their lives; time off with family, sick time, unexpected personal challenges, etc.

The maximum time frame allowed for cosmetology and/or instructor transfer students who need less than full course requirements or part-time students will be determined based on 80% of the scheduled contracted hours. The maximum time frame allowed for nail technician and/or esthetics transfer students who need less than full course requirements or part-time students will be determined based on 90% of the scheduled contracted hours. If any student enrolled fails to complete the program within the maximum time frame they will lose their eligibility for Title IV programs and will be terminated from the program. Students who exceed the maximum time frame may be permitted to re-enroll, and be charged tuition fees accordingly, on a cash-pay basis.Whether a student pays out of pocket or receives Title IV Financial aid all hours attempted and completes are considered part of the Satisfactory Academic Progress calculation. For students with a disability that appeal, the student’s disability will be considered as a factor towards maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
